The brief
Narrow room, open shelving instead of wall units, and a splashback that had to be a quiet feature rather than a backdrop.
What we did
- Wall floated flat first — herringbone shows any undulation
- Pattern set from a true vertical centre line above the range
- Cuts planned around the shelf brackets and the extractor so none land as slivers
- Slim colour-matched trim to the top edge under the shelf line
