The brief
The rest of the bathroom was newly built by the client’s builder. TileDegree was brought in for the stone only, because it was the part that could not be got wrong.
What we did
- Consecutive slabs dry-laid to mirror the veining across the vertical centre line
- Panel mapped so the pattern meets the ceiling and side walls with balanced cuts
- External corners mitred so the veined face wraps the return
- Non-staining adhesive; sealed before and after grouting; surface polished
